Full Description

A spectacular presentation of Steam Power, past and present. In October 1988 Steam returned to the Main Line to celebrate 125 years of Railways in New Zealand. This celebration has been captured on film and is intercut with rare archival footage dating back to 1901. In time of pageantry, tragedy and war the Steam locomotive shared our history.
