Full Description

Like American gridiron, rugby football is fast and bonecrushing, but its players wear little protective clothing. It can be dangerous and it's certainly one of the fastest growing body-contact sports. Shot during a recent New Zealand tour by the French international team. 'Score' offers a completely new view of rugby - a study in slow motion, set to Tchaikovskys 'Manfred' symphony. it contains fine examples of the hard and driving play which characterise the game, and its images of powerful men in action give brilliant insight into the very nature of the sport.
