NO RANDOM HARVEST. New Zealand's vast pine plantations, the largest man-made forests in the world, are now in production. This entailed the erection of new sawmills and paper mills and the enlargement of existing ones. New Railways are under construction and new towns are being built to service the industries created by this planned harvest of timber.
