Full Description
ORANGES Kerikeri, one of the oldest settlements in New Zealand, is now an orange-growing area. By using hardy trifoliata stock, orchardists are improving the supply of sweet New Zealand oranges.
GOURDS Gourds used by the ancient Maori for storing food were richly decorated. The art of decorating (and growing) them has been revived by an Auckland artist, Theo Schoon.
