The NFU Collection
Using the National Film Unit Audio Visual Wiki
The National Film Unit (NFU) wiki works like a standard database. To search for a film by title type the name into the search box and press ‘go’. If there is a matching title the wiki will take you straight there. If there is no matching title it will find the most relevant hits.
To search for a film via key words type a word into the search box and hit ‘search’. This will search for all the relevant records relating to the key word.
To edit, add or describe a record click ‘Edit’ at the top of the screen. You will be taken to a text screen where you can add, remove or edit the text in the box. Once you have completed your addition, click the ‘Save page’ tab at the bottom of the page.
To create or link a record into a category click the ‘Edit’ button and scroll to the bottom of the page. Underneath the existing categories write “[[Category:yourcategoryhere]]” replacing ‘yourcategoryhere’ with how you wish to categorise the film, then click ‘save’.
Rules of using the wiki
